Lucy Chambers – Restaurant Manager
Lucy’s career’s spans from New Zealand to Britain. She has worked in various high class restaurants over a ten year period in London. Finally moving to Melbourne to pass on the skills and knowledge acquired to help teach, train and inspire the students of Charcoal Lane.

Damien Styles – Head Chef
Damien began his career in Noosa, Qld. From there has worked in top restaurants in Sydney and Melbourne. His dedication to his craft and the teaching of young chefs is what he says drew him to his current role as Head Chef of Charcoal Lane. Damien jumped at the chance to work alongside and train young Aboriginals in the profession he loves, with the hope to give them the opportunity to form lasting careers in hospitality.

Stephanie Simson – Program Co-ordinator
Throughout her career Stephanie has acquired extensive experience in the development and implementation of culturally appropriate education, training and employment programs. After completing her degree in Aboriginal legal and cultural studies she has worked with many Aboriginal communities Australia wide to close the education and employment gap. Stephanie now works closely with the local Koori community to deliver a holistic training and employment program that aims to deliver lasting outcomes for its young people. |

Shera Angela – Youth Support
Shera Angela has worked as a Youth Worker since 2005, both in Australia and the United Kingdom. Shera has worked on a variety of alternative education programs with Aboriginal young people in both Melbourne and the Northern Territory. Having completed her BA in Youth Work in 2009, Shera brings with her a wealth of experience, and the skills needed to empower young people to actively participate in the communities they live in. |

Coen Brown – Youth Support
As a Gunditjmara and Yorta Yorta man, Coen brings a wealth of local community knowledge to the Charcoal Lane support team. A young leader in his community, Coen is passionate about helping young people to reach their goals in life. Coen has extensive experience working within community welfare, specifically attending to the needs of young people. Coen is currently completing his Certificate IV in Youth Work. |
